When you select a specific day in the calendar, any appointment or event scheduled for that day is listed in this area. You also can select a day or time slot and create a new appointment or event. Select More to see additional actions—for example, an option to print a message.
Use Tasks to create, manage, and track things you want to get done. You can learn more about the new and classic tasks in Outlook.com by going to Use To Do App to manage tasks in Outlook. Add a contact to your Favorites by selecting a contact in the list, and then selecting visit Fix Outlook Site Add to favorites. Each message also has a mini toolbar when you open the message in a new window.
To get help and troubleshoot other Microsoft products and services, enter your problem here. If your mailbox is full, we won't be able visit Fix Outlook Site to reply to your request. The Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant has been replaced with troubleshooters integrated into Get Help. In the meantime, please use the workarounds suggested for each issue. To edit a shared calendar, go online to your own Outlook.com calendar, open Calendar for Windows 10, or use a mobile device. To determine the cause of the performance issues, start the Assistant, and run the Outlook Diagnostic in the Advanced Diagnostics section. If so, wait a short time (usually two or three minutes) to see if Outlook starts working again. A profile is a group of settings that controls how Outlook works. It includes a listing of your accounts, autocomplete information, and your name and initials. Not something you want to take on lightly, but sometimes you have to. Similar to our earlier suggestion of repairing Office (see #3 Repair Your Microsoft Office above), perform the same steps except choose to Uninstall. Be aware that you may need your product key if you received one. This option could be useful if you constantly have to wait for Outlook to rebuild its data file when you restart. No matter how well written add-ins are visit Fix Outlook Site (and even Outlook itself), there will always be the occasional Outlook problem that doesn’t seem to go away or may not be related to add-ins at all.
You must have at least three user accounts on the computer to complete these steps. You can automatically repair your Office program files to resolve such problems as Outlook freezing or not responding. If creating a new profile visit Fix Outlook Site solves your issue, you can return to the Show Profiles dialog and delete your old profile. Understanding the root causes and using the right tools can make all the difference. While built-in tools like ScanPST offer a basic Safety net, they often fall short when it comes to rectifying deeper file damage. Outlook slows down, crashes randomly, or fails to load visit Fix Outlook Site entirely. Users often turn to Microsoft’s ScanPST tool, but it struggles with large files and doesn’t always finish the job. Microsoft Outlook is one of the most widely used email clients globally, especially in professional and business environments. Outlook also comes with strong built-in security features, making it a reliable choice for managing communication and workflow.
If the check box is cleared, the service or startup program doesn't run when you restart the computer. Repairing your Office programs can resolve issues with Outlook not responding or freezing. Errors in Microsoft 365 files are repaired automatically. If Outlook isn't stuck at a screen that says "Processing," or this didn't resolve your issue, continue to the steps below. Outlook may remain stuck if other Office applications or processes are running in the background.
This issue has been mitigated and we are continuing to monitor the issue to ensure stability. The root cause was the deployment of an incorrect campaign data file, which led to false positive campaign detection. We have since reverted to the right data file and the outbound email flow has returned to a normal state. We also released a visit Fix Outlook Site new rule that corrected the wrong campaign verdict for all impacted customers during the incident. You might need to set Windows Update to automatically download and install recommended updates.
